CHARLY COOMBES & THE NEW BREED

Through the sprawling spires, back streets and country fields of Oxford, reside four young men, collectively known as CHARLY COOMBES & THE NEW BREED. Formed in 2009, this red-blooded rock & roll band is firmly rooted in a mix of contemporary rock and old time soul. The tight, keyboard-driven group have toured the UK and North America, as well as an extensive tour of Brazil in 2011. They also have two EPs under their belts: Panic and Waves. Their third EP Noise Control is due for release in early 2012, as well as a further UK tour.

ROB MARR

Rob Marr will be performing solo, showcasing songs from his second album, Anatomy. The record is the result of a two-year collaboration between Robs distinctively English piano-led songwriting and ex-Sly and the Family Stone drummer Andy Newmarks vintage New York grooves. Cerys Matthews BBC 6 Music described his current single, Fencebuilding as

An astonishing piece of music

Brilliant British pop as it should be - Drowned in Sound

Impressive - The Independent

RICHIE SYRETT

Richie Syrett is a Manchester based singer/songwriter whose typically melodic and ragged style makes a grateful nod to a number of rootsy influences whilst all the time maintaining it's own signature sound. He has just released a new album Good Morning Midnight.

"Employing the sparse, reverbed sound that only great singers such as early Elvis, Chris Isaacs and Jeff Buckley have used, Mancunian Richie gets away with it. Totally worth checking out!" - Rhythm Magazine -

"Profoundly melodic Americana-flecked folk-rock - Syrett has developed an individual vision which shows much promise for the future." - Americana UK -
