Lineup and details for polarise presents The Trophy Twins on Saturday 11th April 2009
Needing little introduction to Polarise are the Trophy Twins “who are bi monthly residents, they will be joining us every other month from feb to blow the place down with their unique brand of Funky Electro and Techno. These Northern boys started out at places like Gatecrasher but are now more known on the international stage in places as far out as South Africa and Finland. Their residencies have included nights such as Kiss Da Funk and Judgement Sundays in Ibiza and they have rocked crowds at festivals like Creamfields and Radio 1 outdoor events. Their reputation is such that it has attracted praise from the likes of Judge Jules who is quoted as saying they have "unmatchable energy behind the decks". People who have their ear to the ground will already know about their tunes and remixes, working with the likes of Mark Knight, Funkagenda and Just Jack to name but a few so it is with great pleasure that we welcome them back as residents.
Polarise main man Lex will be stepping up to the plate once more for a banging set of Uplifting House and Electro
Rock-Steady residents Richard Phillips & Eddie George are back for another installment of Tech House and Electro whilst http://www.phatbeats.co.uk DJ Marky D will be offering Funky Beats and Upfront Funky Electro to get feet moving. Also rejoining us is DJ Remedy and DJ Kane. DJ Kane has been around since the DNB & Rave glory days of the late 80s and early 90s and his DJing antics have taken him to places such as Japan, U.S, Canada and all over Europe. He has had releases over the years on labels like Undiluted, Trouble On Vinyl and Congo Natty and was well known in the very early days on the legendary Kool FM for his Home Alone show. Showing his versitility, he is returning to Polarise with another House and Electro set showing many of these new boys how it's done. Shine879 DJ Remedy who has been on the scene since the 90s as a teenager is back and will be showcasing his Old Skool mixing style (which has never left him from his Garage days) taking a trip through House, Electro and Tech House in Genre-Defying seamless fashion. His highlights include sets at Heaven for Gatecrasher and Camden Palace back in the old days.
We will be giving away lots of free Polarise Mix CDs mixed by Lex and Drew Scott.
We're sure you'll agree this is another Line Up not to be missed. See you all there....
