Killaflaw
Killaflaw have had many justified accolades during their career thus far taking in some of the best festivals including Glastonbury and they continue to enjoy a huge following in the capital regularly playing Camden 's Club NME Nights at Koko and Club Remix at Proud. They provide their fans with a high octane set that jumps up a notch with every song performed.
An album in the pipeline which Eddy Temple-Morris described as: file with the debuts of Prodigy, Oasis and Kasabian., enlists the additional production expertise of Dave Pemberton, who has worked with the likes of Faithless, Orbital, Prodigy and Kasabian. DJ Magazine, describes: Killaflaw have the passion, the soul, the raw power and the tunes. Theyre gonna be massive.
Having recently secured a publishing deal, recording their latest material in Ibiza, killaflaw are back in their hometown to unleash their electro blues rock on The Lovely Job once again!
Tone Puppets
Full of eastern promise - and northern grit, resident band at The Lovely Job, Tone Puppets produce a fizzy, guitar fuelled indie laced sound with curious time signatures and mathy prog-outs thats even been likened to the Beta Band/Nirvana and The Doors.
Working on a follow up to their debut promo single Ignore Tone Puppets are embarking on a series of shows in the capital after impressing down south with their Lovely Job Tours shows.
The Wild Eyes
Currently residing in Liverpool, The Wild Eyes are a band that will leave you educated and enlightened after listening to their carefully crafted uplifting pop psychedelia. Reminiscent of 'Working For A Nuclear City' The Wild Eye's have been grabbing the attention and imagination of the music press of late and rightly so:
The word 'psychedelic' gets used quite a lot by pretentious hipsters trying to label bands, but these certainly deserved that epitaph, with an exciting and wild performance that, well, lived up to their name. Peter Guys Getintothis
Ian Dunn
Ian Dunn is a more than competent and skilled acoustic singer songwriter based in Liverpool gaining many accolades wherever he plays.
Finger picking to melancholic chord progressions grip the listener to remain locked into the world he creates through his music. Simon & Garfunkle and Ray Lamontage are stated among his influences yet a certain unplugged Alice in Chains chimes at times through his warm tones.
Post Romantics
Formed in Liverpool, Post Romantics produce catchy pop punk music that lends itself to a definite Libertines influence. Duel lead vocals give their tracks a depth and keeps their music fresh throughout.
Theres an air of poetry mixed with an endearing energy thats almost anarchic whilst on stage.
The 10 B's
The 10 Bs are a newly formed band from Liverpool consisting of Philip Collier, Ryan Mallows, of former Merseyside favourites Elevaters and Glen Ashworth.
Cutting their teeth and impressing at The Mathew Street Fringe Festival on board The Planet Boat stage, Albert Dock. They were asked back a second consecutive day. Dealing in Indie Pop Rock 'n roll theres already a buzz about The 10 Bs!
