Freeze, September 11th – 5th Birthday Party Part 1


So, we are 5. 60 months, 1825 days or 43,800 hours since we burst (or limped - delete as applicable!) onto the Liverpool clubbing scene in a room above a bar!

5 years on, we are riding the crest of a wave as we celebrate half a decade and also 1 year in our venue, The Williamson Tunnels. After 5 years of hard work, messy nights, financial crisis’s, babies, engagements but above all dedication to throwing the best parties we can; we now find ourselves with a glowing reputation as one of the best underground parties in the North West of England.

The series of Rave in a Cave parties at the magnificent Williamson Tunnels venue has thrown the night into a totally different stratosphere. The uniqueness of the venue and the acts that we have attracted to it has been a match made in heaven. From A Listers like Nick Warren and Ben Watt through to up and coming stars like Henry Saiz and Guy J and heavyweight producers such as Christian Smith and Robert Babicz; the Cave has been the place to be over the last year!

So, what do we do for the biggest show we have promoted to date? A celebration 5 years in the making? Who is that DJ who will make this show talked about for years to come? It took us a lot less time than 5 years, less than 5 seconds even to come up with the answer. There was no debate or questions. DANNY HOWELLS is our favourite DJ and Danny Howells will provide the soundtrack and the jelly and ice cream to our birthday celebrations.

Performing one of his rare and legendary Dig Deeper sets, Danny will play from first beat until last beat. There will be no warm up. This is 6 hours of a true musical master taking you everywhere and anywhere that you could wish to go.

As part of our birthday celebrations, we decided we wanted to try and support a cause that has become close to us in the last few months. We therefore present….

Freeze Digs Deeper for MacMillan Cancer Research.

It’s a weekend of charity focused events cumulating in the show at The Tunnels and we will strive to raise as much money as possible across the weekend. Donations will be requested at the show, we ask you to Dig Deep. Freeze and Danny Howells certainly are.
