MADNICE x NO FAKIN' x STONES THROW RECORDS presents HOMEBOY SANDMAN (live) on Sat 1st March 2014
MADNICE MARAUDERS | NO FAKIN'
in association with STONES THROW RECORDS present...
HOMEBOY SANDMAN live
with Support from
BENNY DICTION live
NO FAKIN' DJs
To celebrate the launch of his new EP 'White Sands' on the legendary Stones Throw imprint one of Hip Hop's most charismatic artists, Homeboy Sandman, brings his unique, humble and honest take on Hip Hop to Europe. The Queen's native has been riding the crest of a wave of critical acclaim on the back of a string of innovative, cutting edge releases and sold out shows across the globe collaborating with KRS One, Action Bronson, The Roots, DJ Spinna, Jon Wayne and many more along the way.
His show in the Shipping Forecast's Hold marks his Liverpool debut for what looks set to be his most intimate show on the tour and the perfect setting for this rhyme-twisting, pure lyricist to spread his message.
In support we are stoked to welcome Benny Diction back to town. The one time Liverpool native was instrumental in the city's Hip Hop Scene in the early naughties hosting and performing at live shows and open Mic events with his team The Punning Clan. Now based in London, Benny has been making the right noises with his dope, cross continent colabs with Melbourne beatsmith Able8 on Boom Bap Professionals.
Turntable support comes from Original Cuture's beatmaker, remixer and OG MADNICE DJ: Sert One and Liverpool's long serving purveyors of Hip Hop, the No Fakin' DJs.
