Lineup and details for German Beer Festival on Wednesday 26th October 2011
Welcome to The Ship & Mitre and our very own (late) Oktoberfest!! There will be a total of 38 German bottles on offer, all of which different to our normal selection of 40 bottles. 16 of these beers have been imported from Upper Franconia exclusively for The Ship, with a Lager & a Wheat beer brewed for us in Germany by German brewers. We have a selection of 5 Oktoberfest beers all from Munich breweries, and a further 17 beers from around Germany.
The two bottled beers brewed exclusively for The Ship & Mitre will also be available on draught alongside Germanys oldest Stout - The River Stout; and a German take on British ales brewed in Upper Franconia - Franconian Golden Ale.
As with all our beer festivals at the ship foods will be available throughout from the Kitchen Hatch, where you can choose from the regular menu or (German themed) Festival Specials .
