After last years sell-out show, Jeff returns to Liverpool with his full band to perform songs from throughout his career.
At the Kazimier, the home of Alternative Live Music in Liverpool.
Jeffrey Lewis & The Junkyard.
An Anti Folk hero, his Songs often combine a depressing world-view with a hopeful message and sharp wit. Born in New York City and growing up on the Lower East Side of Manhattan Island his songs are also highly informed by his home surroundings, with songs namechecking places such as Williamsburg, the FDR Drive and the East River.
In 2001 Jeffrey Lewis signed to Rough Trade Records (The Smiths, The Strokes, Belle & Sebastian, etc) and has since released five albums, in addition to touring the world and performing with Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks, Devendra Banhart, The Vaselines,The Fiery Furnaces,The Moldy Peaches, Cornershop, The Cribs, Adam Green, and other luminaries.
