Shazza1975 Wannabe Offline Points:28 Posts: 1	BMF Tail End Overall rating: 3.5 The camping area was much too far away from the stalls as we had to walk across a large empty grass area. We had some people who found the walk was too much for them to even get to the stalls :-( Even the disabled camping area was a long way from the marquees. We went in a large group with one couple having a caravan, they were told when they booked the tickets that they could camp in the car/bike area along with the rest of us yet on arrival were seperated from us into the caravan area a long way from where we were camping which spoilt our group atmosphere, made worse when later arrivals of caravans and motorhomes were allowed into where we were camping as the caravan area was full up. The music would be better if the bands played stuff we knew instead of thier own songs that no-one could join in with as it was never heard of material. 12 hours of rain overnight made for a very muddy exit and hazardous, the marshalls eventually got carpets and gravel put down over the mud but it was a bit too late for the bikers who had already come off and damaged thier bikes and gear trying to get out. A little forward planning and preperation would have helped immensely. Overall i did enjoy the shopping experience and atmosphere but hope that it will be better thought out if the venue stays at Lincoln in future.

jonrms Wannabe Offline Points:14 Posts: 1	PNOC goes to BMF Overall rating: 3.5 I went to this event as always with our PNOC group. As said by another member (I belive to be) the event was too spread out. The distance from our camp to the main area was a serious walk. The night security was either over keen or very slack. Sadly we know of 5 wallets that have been stolen at this event due to the security not realising that there was a public walk way that bypasses there security! Many traders did not attend and not sure for what reasons. Many of the traders I spoke to said they wouldnt do this event again due to the lack of people attended or shown interest.. I belive this to be because it was soo big of a event. The sunday was horrible. 5 people came down on there bikes due to muddy and horrible conditions on site. One was injured at walking pace. I hope she is ok. Overall our group had a good laugh and giggle as always but the showground has to go.. bring back the normal petersborough!!!!

apod111 Wannabe Offline Points:18 Posts: 1	BMF Tail End Overall rating: 3 By Comparison to Peterborough over the last 4 years, I found that the Lincoln Venue was very disappointing. There were fewer stalls & exhibitors and the atmosphere was not as buoyant as Peterborough has been in the past. If this event remains at Lincoln, I think I will give it a miss from now on. Bring back Peterborugh !!
