They'll also be an outdoor funfair, amazing stage shows and special effects, rarely seen at a clubbing event. And make sure you don't miss the Love Leeds Outdoor Area and Sound Stages, outdoor bars and funfair from 7pm.
Love Leeds Outdoor Area / Soundstages from 7pm in the Victoria Works Outside Area
Join Federation as they take control of the Red Bull Truck from 7pm with their resident DJs playing a mix of Federation Classics and upfront tracks. And Northern clubbing sensation, Filth, and Europe's biggest nightlife website, Soonnight.com join in the mayhem too with their Ice'd Cream van. Expect Filth's finest DJs... plus Free Ice Cream on tap!
Then there's the vintage mini kitted out as a fully blown photo booth and linked directly to its very own microsite. And don't forget the outside bars and funfair featuring white knuckle rides, traditional stalls and food concessions, which will be open all night until the event closes.
Federation needs no introduction to the funky faithful of Leeds as one of the cities most hedonistic club nights renown for its mad entertainers and fierce funky soundtrack. Federation has thrown the biggest parties Leeds has seen over the last 7 years. This theatrical masterpiece of clubbing has it all; an award winning team of resident DJs, stage and walk-about entertainment, where there is always something to capture your imagination. As Love Leeds falls on American Independence Day, why not join the celebrations in the Federation room and dress with our theme... Cheerleaders, FBI, American Footballers, Cowboys and Indians, Wall Street bankers...With the Federation DJs Stuart Robinson and Mark Leaf.*
Kissdafunk is Leeds' award winning, house music phenomenon. A-list djs such as David Guetta, Erick Morillo, Steve Angello and Axwell headline a night of cutting-edge, house music and mad capped mayhem. Voted by Mixmag to be one of the best club nights of 2007 it is renowned for its sexy crowd who really know how to party. KDF's reputation for energy fuelled house goodness and famous pink KDF girls has also spread to an international stage. It has hosted successful parties as far afield as Mallorca, Poland, Dubai, Bahrain, Singapore and Gibraltar; not forgetting its four summer seasons in Ibiza including the upcoming 2009 second season with Judgement Sundays. With the Kissdafunk DJs Rob Tissera and Huey playing the funkier side of house.
Filth has been lovingly embraced by the city's chaotic student crowd and local clubbers alike. With its music policy of jumped-up electro house and peak time hands-in-the-air rave, winning over clubbing crowds in native Leeds has led to Filth takeovers in key cities such as Manchester and London, plus a multitude of summer Ibiza residencies. DJ Magazine recently labeled Filth as "A Northern House Phenomenon".Showcasing the biggest, freshest names in electronic dance music alongside a handy team of resident DJs. With recent mantel shelf addition of the ‘Best New Clubnight' award from the Galaxy Radio Awards 2008, No1 Night in DJ Mag Feb 09 and No1 Night in Mixmag May 09, the calibre of party has grown and grown. Featuring the Filth resident DJs Gav Bailey and Little Bastard.*
Purrfect has been at the forefront of the Leeds House Music scene for almost a decade. Constantly reinventing itself and introducing new musical directions. The ethos of the club night has always remained the same - undiluted music for fun loving clubbers! Purrfect launched Purrfect Electro in 2006 using this to showcase some of the best talent in house music today, giving Leeds debuts and even UK debuts to majority of our guests including Dirty South, Micky Slim, Laidback Luke, **Chris** **Lake**, TV Rock, Will Bailey and Bart B More. Now at its best, with a lot more musical freedom, Purrfect keeps bringing you the best DJs around but it is without a doubt the unsung abilities of its resident DJs that keeps this party on top. Join residents Nick Ostertag and Jimmy Wade for this Purrfect session.
Celebrating it's 1st Birthday in March, BlackOut continues to go from strength to strength within the Leeds clubbing community. Being at the forefront of the House music genre with an outstanding team of residents BlackOut brings you the freshest bookings month in month out bringing you the best in undiscovered artists & future heroes in the UK & Overseas; BlackOut's ethic is simple, quality house music, quality people, affordable prices.
