Pink Kitten Burlesque & Cheerleading Parties in Leeds

Our party lessons are taught with the emphasis on fun and are always a real giggle. They are a great way to break the ice and get the party started, and of course a totally unforgettable way to spend time with friends.

We strive to make our lessons as enjoyable for you as possible and as always at Pink Kitten we use excellent teachers. We understand that some may be a little nervous, so we always ensure that everyone is totally put at ease and we normally find that within minutes everyone is having too much fun dancing to feel nervous.

Burlesque: The Lesson
The lesson begins with looking at posture and teaches you to stand so that you will turn heads in any room. You will learn how to pull off a sexy strut, think Marilyn Monroe, sexy wiggles and elegant dance moves. You will also learn some tips for striptease, don't worry there's no nudity, this is done by layering up a shirt over your clothes, but it will give you the idea for other items you might want to try when you get home! This is all then put together into a beautiful routine complete with feather boas, that everyone will be able to do.

There will be an opportunity to take group photos and your teacher can even show you some sexy pin up poses for them.

We want you to be able to remember your routine so that you can practice at home, so we make time for everyone to make notes on what we have learnt. We also provide everyone with a handy burlesque resources sheet with contacts for things like costuming, and where to get the music we used in the lesson. There will also be a certificate presentation at the end of the lesson.

Cheerleading: The Lesson
The lesson starts with an energising warm up. You then start to lean some simple Cheer dance steps to a funky sound track. This then progresses to a Cheerleading routine complete with chants customised especially for your group, such as the bride or birthday girls name. Don’t be surprised if your chants and routine get used out on the town that evening! The lesson ends with a cool down then onto a presentation of certificates for everyone to remember the day by. There will also be plenty of photo opportunities.

Pole Dancing: The Lesson

The lesson starts with a gentle warm up. We then look at posture and teach you how to stand so you will turn heads. Next it’s onto the poles: you start with really simply gliding around the pole, then start to actually lift off the floor and spin round it. We will teach you a variety of pole spins and throw in plenty of sexy dance moves that you can do at home, weather you have a pole or not. This is then put together into a sexy and sassy pole dance routine that everyone will be able to do.
There will be an opportunity to take pictures on the pole which your teacher will show you some sexy poses for. At the end of the lesson everyone will be presented with a Pink Kitten a certificate.

Times and Prices
We offer time slots in 2 hour periods anytime inbetween 12pm – 8pm, but please note that this must include any time you need to get changed.
