The DJ line up is headed by the legendary Marshall Jefferson, one of the founding fathers of house music & pivotal figures in its early development. Marshall’s 'Move Your Body' became a seminal Hacienda anthem way back in 1986 & was soon followed by other classic MJ productions including Kechia Jenkins, ‘I Need Somebody’ & CeCe Rogers’ 'Someday'.
A central character throughout the Chicago house scene, Marshall has collaborated & worked with many greats including Steve Silk Hurley, Felix Da Housecat & Lil Louis to name but a few and he still continues work as a prolific producer, releasing on his Karmic Power, Skint & Harmless Records.
The Hacienda’s reputation stands as one of the most influential clubs in history & set many DJ’s on their way to success so for the August event, Shine has brought together many of the legendary players who graced the club in its heyday. The Nineties’ Saturday night residency of Graeme Park & Tom Wainwright resumes its partnership alongside long-term FAC51 The Hacienda afficionado, Jon Dasilva who will be joined by Buckley.
Room Two at The Warehouse, commonly known as 'The Loft' is thrown over to Shine who bring the cream of the Leeds crop to the event including local legend & Shine regular Graham Dixon playing a rare unique blend of early house. Graham will be accompanied by Shine’s favourite residents Paul Murray, Mark Holliday & Garry Dabill.
