Lineup and Details for KALUKI - HEIDI PRESENTS THE JACKATHON on Thu 5th April 2012
Kaluki are a Manchester institution, partying hard at Sankeys every Saturday night with only the wisest house and techno bookings in tow. This event at The Warehouse will be their first in Leeds with Heidi, Matthias Kaden, Lee Foss, Darius Syrossian, Ellese and many more all playing on Easter Thursday (Bank Holiday the next day)
If anyone is deserving of the oft over used title of tastemaker, its surely headliner Heidi Van Den Amstel aka Heidi. Having secured a regular show on Radio 1, the Dutch DJ continues to showcase all manner of new and jacking house and tech on the airwaves, just as she does at her Heidi Presents The Jackathon club events and on her recently release Get Physical compilation of the same name. Spinning in Berlin and London as well as Paris, Manchester, Amsterdam and many other cities around the world, shes the current queen of the underground.
Offering a lighter take on electronic music will be Lee Foss, the Hot Creations boss - alongside pal Jamie Jones who has reinvented a certain strain of disco fuelled, vocal, sexy and slo-mo house music for labels like LA Culprit as well as his own and is a party starting DJ like few others today.
Finally, Cocoon, Get Physical and Vakant producer Mathias Kaden will bring his own sharpened bag of dancefloor weapons to the party ensuring it will be one never forgotten!
Music Genres:
Disco, House, Techno
