Wooping at the right moments, dancing without reserve and generally laving a laugh are what the lucid Filth followers are all about: it’s why these parties always go right off, time after time. Their fancies are sure to be more than tickled this month, as Frenchman Cost is one hot property. His record Cyan has been delivered and well received, his new label ‘Active Music’ is on the horizon, as is a new alter ego, and a storming season in Ibiza this summer is just behind him. As he pushes ever further up the DJ ranks, tonight is your chance to see why – expect lush house and electro tones of the sort to ignite any dance floor worth its salt.

As for Juan Kidd, he’s the man behind dirty tech house grinders on labels like Cr2 and Subliminal, and had a number one hit on beatport for three weeks back in January, when he teamed up with Felix Baumgartner feat Lisa Millet to release ‘Now You’re Gone.’ As well as his killer production skills, monthly slots at Sankeys over in Manchester, and gigs at Space, Bora Bora and Pacha in Ibiza tell you the man knows how to work a floor. The pistons, rolling basslines and twisted tech to be laid down by this man signal a new direction for Filth.
