Lineup and Details for Walk for Skin - Temple Newsam, Leeds on Sun 16th May 2010
In its fifth year, the 2010 Walk for Skin, proudly supported by Sanex, is a series of sponsored walks taking place throughout the UK to help raise vital funds for research into skin disease. The 2010 Walk for Skin comes to Temple Newsam on Sunday 16th May.
Temple Newsam is an outstanding Tudor-Jacobean mansion and one of the great historic estates in England. Set within over 1500 acres of woodland, parkland and gardens that was landscaped in the 18th Century. The gardens evolve over the seasons and the park is renowned for its stunning rhododendron walk that will be particularly in bloom over the summer month of May. After the walk, why not visit Europe’s largest working Rare Breeds Farm with over 400 animals? This is included for free to all Leeds Walk for Skin participants.
Healthy skin brand Sanex supports the Walk for Skin and has been working closely with the British Skin Foundation since 2005, to help promote the importance of healthy skin. Sanex will be kick starting the launch of the 2010 Walk for Skin at the Vitality Show in London, with their first ever CatWalk for Skin. Rather than showing off the season’s latest fashion styles, models will celebrate healthy skin through a series of artistic body painting designs.
Visit www.walkforskin.org.uk for more information on all the walks and to register to take part.
