Digital Society Leeds celebrates five years at the forefront of the UK Trance scene with the biggest event in DS history and headlining the 5th Birthday spectacular is UK superstar and global Trance icon GARETH EMERY, with a very special DS anniversary set returning to Leeds for the first time since the Northern Lights Concert. Gareth has been responsible for some of the Trance modern day greats, including 'Sanctuary', 'Exposure' and 'Metropolis' all the recent years and after 2010's chart-topping debut artist album Northern Lights, the market leading podcast 'TGEP' and the continued immense success of his own label Garuda, alongside an almost unrivalled global touring schedule covering the world's biggest festivals and clubs - Gareth Emery is considered one of the definitive acts in todays world dance music scene.
Supporting Gareth on the night is a absolutely massive lineup of superstars, all firm favourites throughout 5 years of DS history. The on fire ANDY MOOR, returning DS favourite SIMON PATTERSON, a debut from dutch pioneer RANK 1, true Trance legend JOHN 00 FLEMING, the hottest Trance act in America TRITONAL, super talented ASHLEY WALLBRIDGE, dutchman LEON BOLIER headliner of the first ever DS, Danish master DANIEL KANDI, iconic legend SOLARSTONE, the ever popular BRYAN KEARNEY French wizard FERRY TAYLE, and back by demand italian MANUEL LE SAUX, are joined by ACTIVA, WILL HOLLAND and DS Residents Rav Takhar, Paul Pearson, Gary Proud, Adam Flexer, Harry Fowler and Med & Neil Bamford.
Over 10000 clubbers have visited Digital Society events @ O2 Academy Leeds as the UK truely embraced the awe-inspiring production events such, Anjunabeats and Group Therapy with Above & Beyond, Gareth Emery's Northern Lights Concert, Armada Night UK with Markus Schulz, Sander van Doorn's Dusk Till Doorn, and the epic Ferry Corsten DS 4th Birthday show.
