I think I speak for everyone on our team when I say that clubbing has had a positive impact on our lives in some way. Be it spilling our hearts out to a stranger at 6am, or  them “hands-in-the-air” moments that will be in our soul forever, clubbing is more than something to do on a weekend. It’s a family, a community, a way of life, something beautifully positive for the world.

Clubbing has helped us in such a way that it’s time to give something back. Trance isn’t about glowsticks and furry boots anymore – it’s about positive attitudes, and massive smiles. All we ask of you is that you keep an open mind. 8 of DJMag’s top 10 DJs of 2010 are trance, tech-trance, or progressive artists, and that speaks for itself. It’s up to you if you want to be involved in the revolution, because everyone’s invited.

WIPPENBERG’s ability to span house, techno, electro and trance promises to be a two hour musical TREAT on the 26th. From remixing Sebastian Ingrosso’s anthem Kidsos to releasing dancefloor DESTROYING trance offerings such as Chakalaka and Pong, we’re willing to bet that if you think you haven’t had your hands in the air to Wippenberg’s tracks at some point... you have.

Since winning Baroque records’ remix competition in 2007, it seems like the sky is the limit for MAT ZO. His inspiring progressive style has pleased both party-thirsty clubbers and massive-name DJs alike, leaving the likes of Armin, Tiesto, and Above and Beyond RAVING his name. Currently DJMag’s 66^th best DJ in the world, expect Mat to tear the ROOF off Mission!

After Mat’s intense success with Baroque, the label’s latest prodigies will be going back-to-back in an Aurora EXCLUSIVE. Our resident Khalid Klarkson joins Sasha Pullin to create KLARKSON & PULLIN. Their latest track “Slim” features on Godskitchen resident Russel G’s new compilation and is available to download NOW on Beatport . Klarkson & Pullin have a couple of tracks for Aurora that have never been heard before anywhere in the world, so if you want to hear the future of trance, this is the time to do it.

It’s been far from a quiet year for our other residents SECRETSOUNDS and JACK CHEETHAM. Throughout 2010 Secretsounds has released a variety of quality mixes (some available from www.podomatic.com/aurora-trance), and explored deep into the techier side of trance, whilst Jack has concentrated on ripping up Ibiza, HYPNOTISING crowds at the Cream preparty at Ibiza Rocks Hotel and the immense Bar Itaca in San Antonio with his trademark euphoric tech-trance. Keep your ears to the ground - Jack has been working magic in the studio of late, and his first eardrum bending enchantments are on the horizon...
