Here's some new footage from the last Flux: http://youtu.be/dBIcTxix2ZY
Its hard to believe its already been a year since Flux began its journey with the For No Reason Showcase in the intimate confines of Wire. A lot has changed since then, and thanks to all of your ongoing support we now find ourselves celebrating our 1st Birthday in the amazing surrounding of the most talked about club in Leeds, the new Mint Warehouse. Joining us, on his highly acclaimed Balance 020 World Tour, will be Swiss man-of-the-moment Deetron, alongside the eclectic label boss of Simple Records and Aus Music, Will Saul. Bringing the support we have much-hyped UK up-and-comers Casino Times and Liverpudlian house don Jesus Pablo.

Swiss-born Deetron, AKA Sam Geiser, despite being brought up with a jazz musician for a father, found his early musical leanings tended more towards hip-hop. He quickly developed a big reputation as an immensely talented 3-deck turntablist, blurring the boundaries between different genres and slowly delving into the realms of house and techno. He ultimately secured himself a residency at the infamous Zurich club, Trax. It was only a matter of time before he turned his attention to production, with releases on Phont Music and In-Tec Records in the 90s that grabbed the attention of pioneers such as Laurent Garnier and Jeff Mills. His partnership with Belgian label, Music Man, is the one that has proved most fruitful over the years and those releases, alongside his many acclaimed remixes, have ensured he is always in the public eye. His Balance 020 CD has been one of the most acclaimed mixes of recent years, epitomising the combination of his beautiful, melody-focused tastes and his seamless mixing skills in both vinyl and digital formats. We are proud to welcome him for his Leeds debut on our 1st Birthday.
Will Sauls countryside origins in Somerset did not stop him from cultivating a love of soul and mo-town at a young age, and these sounds have in many ways come to shape his electronic direction. After winning Muziks mixtape talent contest he decided to take the plunge into the music industry, soon deciding to set up a label with his friends. In the 9 years since, Simple Music has secured remixes from artists such as Seth Troxler, Steve Bug, Carl Craig and Dixon, developing a strong reputation for house of the deeper variety. Wills other label, Aus Music, explores some of the more experimental sounds, with releases for Joy Orbison, Midland and Scuba in recent years. Wills own personal style is celebrated for its depth and intelligence, casting its eye to both the past and the future.
Casino Times is the brainchild of Joe Spencer and Nick Church, two producers that met while studying in Oxford and have quickly gone on to cause some ripples in the London house scene. One of the first pieces of solo production, Thats the Truth got a huge amount of positive feedback on the blogosphere and put them on everyones radar. Their recent remix of Jozifs Twilight on More Music shows the consistency of their excellence in the studio and confirms that they are indeed a duo going places.
Liverpool-born Jesus Pablo is a UK-based DJ with a Hispanic flair and creativity. His releases on labels such as Lost My Dog and I-Records has solidified his name on the scene on the back of an American tour over the summer. He now also co-runs Something Different Records which is a new label showcasing artists such as Karol XVII and MB Valence. His sound fuses soul with the dancefloor and promises to be an exciting prospect for the second room.
