Lineup and details for The Edge of LCGC: London Community Gospel Choir on Thursday 12th June 2008
LCGC is known for their up-tempo gospel flair, swingbeat, R’n’B, traditional and soulful arrangements, with their invigorating choreography and vocal gymnastics - LCGC is outstanding to watch!
LCGC have sung on the soundtrack for Walt Disney’s The Lion King, performed for Nelson Mandela during his famous visit to London and opened at main stage Glastonbury and put gospel for the first time on the BBC Proms map.
Top artists such as George Michael, Madonna, Jessye Norman, Sting, Luther Vandross, Sir Elton John, P-Diddy, Mariah Carey, Blur, The Gorillaz, Beautiful South, Embrace, Diana Ross, Sir Paul McCartney, Tina Turner and so many others have benefited from using LCGC’s unique vocal style on live appearances, video and studio recordings.
LCGC will be performing hard hitting songs with full live band whose members have played for the likes of Westlife, Sugar Babes, George Michael and Will Young but to name a few, presenting the edge of LCGC which is nothing like you’ve heard before! For all lovers of rock, soul and Gospel this is the gig to be at!
