"So I was daydreaming about festival season, reliving those hazy summer dancing days as the winter darkness descended, when one memory shone through, all kaleidoscopic and bright, and whacked a massive smile back on me boat race.

Twas on BEATHERDER's magnifique Toil Trees Soundsystem I heard a lunatic sound, a madcap cacophony that drew me in like a snake to a charmers flute. These were the sounds of multiple personality disorder and it sent me nuts in the best possible way.

DJM was the pied piper leading this particular merry dance, a what a magical, mystical, mad-head musical tour he took us on, from Soul & Motown, through Hip Hop & Glitch Hop, careering through Breakbeat, head-first into Indie, and onto a stomp-fest with good ol Drum and Bass. This guy had single handedly injected the fun back into raving and the crowd loved every bastard second. Hundreds of dancing smiles were the result of this DJ's endeavours and Monster Monster salutes the good man for that.
