Taking as our theme Britain in the 1920's and 30's (dress code glamourous smart or sporting) we have a Lakeland cruise with Charleston, Lindy hop, Swing, Balboa and Jive to "The New Hall Jazz Band" and buffet that departs Bowness 7pm and travels around Windemere till 9.30pm (tickets required from us or direct from www.windemere-lakecruises.co.uk).
The cruise is followed by a free summer Swing Dance ball at the Hydro Hotel ballroom - a short walk from the Lake Jetty. Rooms are also available from www.thehydro.co.uk
Note: Dancing is free (i.e. you do not need to stay at the hotel or take part in the cruise to join in) however, we reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who is not there for a celebration of the 1920's-30's or Swing dancing.
