T in the Park 09 listings

Offering a huge variety of music across seven main stages with large camping areas, as well as other attractions, including a large funfair, comedy tent, silent disco, stalls, and food markets.

The sixteenth T in the Park will be back at Balado in 2009 on Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July.

Expect a line-up of around 180 artists to play over 11 stages. The many acts confirmed so far include The Killers, Blur, Kings of Leon, The Specials, Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, Snow Patrol, The Streets, Manic Street Preachers, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Katy Perry, Razorlight, Elbow, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Pendulum, Peter Doherty, and White Lies.

A limited number of 'Early Bird' tickets for T in the Park 2009 went on sale at 2008's prices - and have now sold out.

Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday 27th February. We'll have links to buy at that time.

The campsite opens on Thursday 9th July which means you can take advantage of an extra day of festival fun with a Thursday camping ticket, which includes entertainment including the campsite cinema screen, and the fairground.

For the first time this year weekend day visitors can come to the Friday of the festival, but only provided that they buy a weekend coach ticket (no camping). The new three day ticket includes day access on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and three return Citylink journeys.

There are coaches running to the festival from direct routes from the following 32 locations across Scotland: Aberdeen, Alloa, Airdrie, Aviemore, Ayr, Armadale, Bathgate, Blackburn, Broxburn, Cowdenbeath, Cupar, Dundee, Dunfermline, East Kilbride, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow, Glenrothes, Greenock, Hamilton, Inverness, Kelty, Kilmarnock, Kirkcaldy, Livingston, Motherwell, Paisley, Perth, Pitlochry, St Andrews, Stirling and Whitburn.
