The Animals
Again no introduction necessary for the 2nd part of our Sunday double headline. Formed in Newcastle-on-Tyne, a port city and coal-mining hub in northeast England during the 1960’s, the Animals reflected their upbringing with brawling, blues-based rock and roll. Linton will 2008 close to the classic sounds of “Gotta Get Out of This Place”, “It’s My Life”, “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood”, “Don’t Bring Me Down” and the timeless “House of the rising Sun"
British Blues Quintet
The first part of our Sunday double headline - kick back and listen to the legendary soundsof 5 master musicians that will rock you to your roots. Featuring Maggie Bell (Stone The Crows), Colin Hodgkinson (Back Door & Spencer Davis Group), Miller Anderson (Keef Hartley Band & Spencer Davis Group) Zoot Money (Big Roll Band) and Colin Allen (Stone The Crows). We promise you a full on set of blistering blues.
DC Fontana
Turned-on music to quake your bones & pluck your heartstrings with rhythm & bruise from deep within their collective soul . . . . DC Fontana are a mighty musical massive on a mission. The DCs tumble, twist & turn to produce a vibed-up sound that defies those who would pigeon hole them.
Ramon Goose Band
The other guise of Ramon Goose. Ramon has toured all over Europe with the likes of Eric Burdon, Blind Boys of Alabama, Eric Bibb and many other artists. Fluent in many styles as a guitarist. but preferring to veer towards the Blues he is sure to dazzle with his acoustic, slide and electric guitar skills
