The Philharmonia Orchestra & Festival Chorus conducted by Adrian Partington perform Mendelssohn 'A Calm Sea & Prosperous Voyage', Phibbs 'Rivers to the Sea' and Vaughan Williams 'A Sea Symphony' at this annual 300-year-old classical choral festival, with soloists Ailish Tynan (soprano) and Owen Gilhooly (baritone).
Tickets are available through Skiddle for unreserved seats at £20. These are positioned in the Cathedral transepts and have the benefit of relay TV on large screens so you can see close ups of the action taking place on stage, choreographed by our team of technicians in real time. Great if you wish to see the sweat on the conductor's brow!
