The first choral concert of the Three Choirs Festival, a 300 year old annual classical choral festival that rotates between the cathedral cities of Hereford, Gloucester & Worcester. The Festival Chorus and Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Geraint Bowen will perform this wonderful celebration of the creation of the world as described in the biblical Book of Genesis and in 'Paradise Lost',with soloists Elizabeth Cragg (soprano), James Oxley (tenor) and Giles Underwood (bass).
Tickets for unreserved seating at £20 are available through Skiddle. These are situated in the Cathedral Transepts and have the benefit of Television Relay on substantial screens, fully choreographed by our technicians as the concert progresses.
