Lineup and Details for Three Choirs Festival - Faure 'Requiem' on Mon 23rd July 2012
The Three Choirs Festival Youth Choir, formed in 2010 to train 16 to 25 year olds for our main festival chorus, won the 'Inspire' mark from the Cultural Olympiad for the second time this year, which denotes a project with a legacy in keeping with the ethos of the Olympic Games.
The choir will perform Faure 'Requiem' and a new commission by Dobrinka Tabakova 'Centuries of Meditation' alongside Debussy 'Danse Sacree et danse profane' accompanied by the Orchestra of the Swan.
Tickets are available through Skiddle for unreserved seats at £18. These are positioned in the Cathedral transepts and have the benefit of relay TV on large screens so you can see close ups of the action taking place on stage, choreographed by our team of technicians in real time. Great if you wish to see the sweat on the conductor's brow!
