Sounds of the Suburbs are a fantastic indie punk covers band from Farnborough.  They have a varied set of old and new classics, from The Sex Pistols and Blondie to The Ruts and The Clash, to modern day great tunes from The Killers, The Hives and The Kaiser Chiefs and many more.

In addition, the band also does something fairly unique, LIVE ROCK KARAOKE.  This brings a whole new level of entertainment to the clubs and venues they perform at and has attracted quite a following.  It enables a live music lover to enjoy not only watching the band perform some great songs but also get involved and join the band on stage to sing!
A great choice of song list is provided to the audience and they can put their name down against the song of their choice, then each person is invited on stage to sing with the band with lyrics provided.  This is an amazingly different experience to regular karaoke you experience the thrill of lead singing in a live band on stage with all your friends watching and cheering you on.  It has proven to be very popular and the band is invited back to regular venues again and again.
