Lineup and details
Squeeze will headline on Saturday 14th July, which will be their only summer show and the first time their founder members Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford have performed together as Squeeze since 1998. Squeeze are responsible for a string of classic hits such as Cool for Cats, Up the Junction, Labelled with Love, Hour Glass and Take Me I'm Yours. Squeeze's appearance at GuilFest promises to be one of the highlights of the 2007 festival season.
Madness headline performance will bring the festival to its close on Sunday 15th July. With twenty-one top-twenty hits, Madness are as exciting and dynamic now as they ever were. You can hear their influence everywhere in todays music, from the staccato rhythms of Franz Ferdinand to the ska-tones of The Ordinary Boys. Madness hits include, One Step Beyond, Night Boat To Cairo, Baggy Trousers, House of Fun, Our House and My Girl. So move your feet, to the rockiest, rock-steady beat of madness one step beyond!
Support for Madness on Sunday will be the amazing Magic Numbers, whose self titled debut album smashed through the charts to become a double platinum hit. After relentless touring and recording of their second album the band will be performing a stunning set of new songs and old hits.
More than 200 more great acts will be announced over the coming weeks for what will be a truly fantastic line up.
