When MTV launched their search for the nations next big thing via their unsigned show Get Seen Get Heard, she emerged from over 40,000 as the number one female artist.

Following her MTV success, Susie continued gigging, touring, writing, recording and reflecting on her career to date, hand-picking creative individuals along the way to form her Collective. Susie Clarke Collective is an amalgamation of talented musicians, producers, photographers, film makers and other creatives, all with broadly diverse roots and influences. The music delicately fuses soul, blues, hip hop, and reggae flavours to accompany Susies expressive vocals and fresh writing style, perfectly complementing a sound best described as modern pop soul.

Last winter saw Susie and key members of the Collective go into hibernation to record the long-awaited debut album, Here and Now. The debut beautifully showcases Susies effortless and catchy song writing: from the foot tapping, summery Sing 4 Me, the soulful and warm Something To Do With You, the regretful and heartfelt Say So, to the killer title track Here and Now. Addictive guitar licks, warm harmonies, a splash of strings, epic choirs, grinding bass and a voice that would make butter melt are all supported by mature and expressive lyrics, making Here and Now an impressive debut.
