Sit back, imagine its 1969 and let yourself be immersed in the hippie sounds of West Coast America as Heart of Rust take you on a journey celebrating the music of Neil Young, the legendary musician who was enrolled onto the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as "one of rock and roll's greatest songwriters and performers". Mr Young is seen by many as being one of the most influential musicians of his generation and his influence continues to inspire younger generations, earning him the title of Godfather of Grunge along the way.

It is an unfortunate fact that it is now becoming increasingly impossible to see the great man himself live. There is however no need to miss out, as coming to Glasgow soon will be the closest thing youll get to enjoying the full raw and passionate Neil Young experience. This widely-praised band will be bringing to life songs spanning Young's 40 year career, from his deeply personal heart-felt acoustic numbers from the classic 1972 album Harvest to the ragged and glorious hard rockin Crazy Horse sound of the Rust Never Sleeps era and beyond. Expect a thoroughly enjoyable evening of beautiful melodies and energetic rock-outs as the band bring you their authentic sound, complete with a replica of Youngs Les Paul guitar Old Black, a Fender 57 Deluxe amp, a pedal steel guitar, a leadsinger who sounds scarily like Young, and to top it all off, an essential Crazy Horse untamed raw attitude.
