Lineup and details for Valentines Evening! on Tuesday 14th February 2012
The Jam House is the perfect way to spend your valentines evening acompanied by Fine Food and The Maria Speight Jazz band. Maria hails from Alabama and brings with her a soulful take on Jazz favourites. She and her band will be performing from around 9pm on the evening and will be perfect to accompany your dinner with.
A romantic and intimate dinner is available for £39 per person including a glass of sparkling wine per person and Valentines cocktail of a French Martini or choco-mint Martini (soft drink substitute available). A sample menu is provided below.

Sauteed Scottish wild mushrooms, grilled brioche, curds
Seared Shetland scallop, smoked chicken Caesar salad
Rustic ham hock terrine, piccalilli, bread crisps, rocket
Baked Boxed Camembert, crudetes, warm breads, pickles, capers and olives
Fresh Scottish oysters (6), with red wine & challot vinegar. (please state when booking if you would like oysters as will be purchased fresh on the day)

Pan-fried seabass fillet risotto of pearl barley, brown shrimp & artichoke, salsa verde
Buttered potato gnocchi, roast squash, pickled mushrooms, porcini broth, crisped roots
Rolled maize fed chicken , ham hock & puy lentils, potato, broad bean & horse mushroom fricasse
Breast of duck with confit leg, pak-choi, asparagus, red wine and currant reduction
Roast Ribeye of Scotch beef, Jam House suet pudding of braised ox, fondant potato
