Lineup and Details for The Edinburgh International Circus Festival on Sun 12th August 2012
Internationally acclaimed artistes will gather in Edinburgh to compete in a star-studded spectacular to thrill family audiences in the Big Top at Ocean Terminal, Leith (Fringe venue 105) from Friday August 3 until Sunday August 26.
Aerialists, acrobats, illusionists and of course clowns come together in a once in a lifetime circus extravaganza.
Edinburgh audiences will play an important role in the Circus Festival. During each of 36 performances their applause will be measured by a clapometer and the artiste gaining the loudest reaction will be judged as the winner. The act that wins the most audience votes overall will receive the prestigious first Edinburgh International Circus Festivals Peoples Choice Award.
