Lineup and Details for Haddow Fest on Sun 28th October 2012

Edinburghs most ambitious festival returns on 28 October with a stellar lineup that includes Hadouken !, Kassidy, Miaoux Miaoux, United Fruit, Three Blind Wolves, Katy Sutherland, home town boys Meursault and just announced headliners The Cribs playing their only Scottish show this autumn.

Returning for its third year of taking over the capital and focusing on the very best up and coming acts, Haddowfest 2012 will see over fifty bands play seven venues in a little over twelve hours. The full list of bands (in no particular order) can be confirmed today

Hamish Jolly, promoter: Absolutely delighted to have the lineup we have for this year. There is a great up and coming/DIY scene in Scotland at the moment and we have tried to reflect that. Getting The Cribs as headliners has been something we have tried to do from day one so having their only Scottish date this year is a real coup.

When you look at also having the likes of Discopolis, Meursault, Three Blind Wolves, Miaoux Miaoux, Katie Sutherland and Kassidy, among so many other artists. I think we can expect a really special day

Kassidys Lewis Andrew: We havent played the capital in a while now and it always greets us with great shows. The last time we played Liquid Rooms the crowd were electric and blew us away. This time we are going to take it to another level."

New signing to Chemikal Underground, Miaoux Miaoux: "Really excited for Haddowfest 2012, its just what Edinburghs music scene needs right now. Cant wait to share a stage with some great bands"

Katie Sutherland: Im really happy to be playing Haddow Fest. Just finished my new album and cant wait to try out the new songs for the first time. See you in October!
