Not coming back

Security refused us entry. We already went inside, but came out to smoke a cigarette and call some friends to wish them a happy new year. Once we wanted to go back inside we were not allowed. Something about speaking in another language (I'm Dutch). My fiancee was allowed back in. Obviously we left, but we weren't even allowed to get our coats.

Never going back there

shocking stuff from castle clvb security on NYE, arrived with a group of people to find them picking individuals out of our group and refusing them entry. understand they have a job to do for safety reasons and ultimately it is their decision if customers are fit enough to enter the premises but when asked for a reason, they said it was not down to drunk-ness and that they didn't need to give an explanation, just that they were to "try somewhere else" even after buying a £17 ticket? as a member of the group that was granted entry, the club itself was pretty empty anyway. the bar staff inside were all down to earth/easy to talk to and the music was a good mix of everything but the night was already ruined by security. as someone who attended castle clvb events at the start of the year, sad to see that the club has declined. hoped with the new management that the buzz would come back but i definitely won't be returning anytime soon

Bouncers straight up refused our party entry saying "not tonight" after we all paid £17.75 in advance for the tickets leaving us to spend new year on the streets after paying ridicules money for Taxis. Think they were too worried about how many guys to girls there was inside. Personally wont be going back anytime soon. Not impressed Castle Clvb and now i'm here chasing about how to get my money back. ridiculously treated by bouncers and am shocked to find we were not uncommon
