Situated on a roman road that runs through the centre of Chester Le Street. This eighteenth century coaching inn and former post house was also a popular spot for cole traders of the time. It seems that visitors of the past still linger here in the form of many light anomilies, loud bangs and taps. Sounds of items being thrown and running on the stairs accompanied by sightings of a Victorian lady.
