The Adventures of Andy Kershaw
Andy Kershaw has already lived ten lives to everyone elses one. As a teenager, he promoted major rock gigs. He was Billy Braggs roadie one day, presenting Whistle Test and Live Aid for the BBC the next. A born maverick, hes combined his passion for music with an instinct for frontline journalism, reporting from the worlds most extreme countries -Iraq,North KoreaandRwanda. He shared an office with John Peel for 12 years, dated Courtney Love and his record collection weighs seven tons. For the past 25 years his radio show has pioneered extraordinary music from all over the world. Whether it applies to foreign adventures, romances, motorcycles, nervous breakdowns or music, Andy does it amplified ten-fold. This show is jammed full of hair raising escapades and humorous anecdotes drawn from his adventurous life!
