not able to use cards at token office was bad and cash back was very expensive at 10% after a 3 mile trp away from family on a mini bus. open drug use not my thing either. this said a great event with hard working staff and mostly happy folk.

Fantastic weekend had by all my Party[my Gf from Dubai, my 15 year old son and his pal].We visited most of the Tents and ate from the Varied selection of food stalls from Thursday to Sunday...KASSIDY were superb,DOG IS DEAD,Big Taj and Spee six nine,WOW,bring them back next year. A special mention to the 4girl members,[Hearts Under Fire],thanx for the freeby E.P,The staff were very good, so helpful/ organised,to the extent of putting a Carpet of Straw to walk on near the DOWN n DIRTY [as its bit muddy],Litterpickers were on the ball.My only grump of the weekend was the SECURITY GUARD who told me,i was NOT allowed to drink out or carry around the plastic botte of Pear Cider i bought from the Greenmans bar[he needs a REFRESHER COURSE],but we will be back next year as normal[VIP would be good to get next year,where can we apply?]

Good value, good music, awful St Hellier cider.

Wasn't keen on the new camping layout. It was changed last year too so makes it difficult to meet up and camp beside friends.Please don't change it again.The bag search is a blasted nuisance, as we try to pack evrything neatly for ease of carrying then have to open bags and take stuff out and re-pack. What is that about. Please take my advice and go to Cambridge Folk Festival and see how it's done.
