Wickerman 2009 Ticket information
Wickerman Festival Tickets are now on sale. All tickets purchased online will use the same eTicketing system used last year, which was very successful and not only saves you money (no postage to pay!) but also increases convenience as you can reissue your tickets at any time.

Tickets are cheaper on skiddle.com than anywhere else. We are The Official Online outlet for the festival, charging no booking fees or postage. A weekend ticket is £80 on this site - why pay £10 more anywhere else?

Important Changes to Tickets this year

Please read the following information with regards changes to 2009 tickets. If you have any questions, please us the 'Event Chat' tab at the top of the page to ask any questions you may have!
New Weekend Concession Tickets

We always encourage families and to help make the festival more affordable, we've introduced a concession weekend ticket for 13-15 year olds, who would previously have had to pay the adult rate. This ticket is available exclusively online through Skiddle until Weds 1st July (after which full adult price will apply). All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult and a maximum of 4 tickets can be purchased per customer.

Proof of Age

Everyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and bring proof of age - anyone without proof of ID will be liable to pay the full adult ticket price at the gate. We also recommend anyone who looks under 21 to bring ID with them. The ages shown on the tickets refer to the age of the child/concession on the day of the festival (not the age at time of purchase)

The 3 forms of photographic ID which will be accepted are: Citizen Card, Passport or Photo Driving License. These are the only official proof of age documents that we will accept. We have teamed up with the Citizen Card to offer half price cards to Wickerman ticket holders. At £6 these cards don't have an expiry so can be used each year (and for other events). http://www.citizencard.com/wickerman.php
Down and Dirty Passes

We're pleased to announce that Down and Dirty passes will be available to purchase in advance again this year. These passes allow use of our upgraded 'posh' flushing toilets and hot showers.
Prices are £6 for a toilet pass and £6 for a shower pass and both give unlimited use. Please note that the number of passes is strictly limited and this offer is available exclusively online. Some tickets may be available at the event (if not already sold out) but prices will be more expensive and showers will be charged per use.

Car/Campervan Parking
Adult Weekend tickets include camping and car parking on Thursday 23rd, Friday 24th & Saturday 25th July.  Saturday tickets include car parking and camping on Saturday 25th July only – gates will not open to Saturday ticket holders until Saturday 25th July at 09.00.

Anyone wishing to bring a campervan or caravan will need to purchase a Campervan ticket. This year there will be two tickets available - Family and General.

The family campervan/caravan ticket will allow access to the family campervan/caravan area and allow a space to pitch 1 tent. This ticket is only available to those with children under 16.

The general campervan area will not allow tents to be pitched (as per previous years policy).

Prices for 2009 Tickets

Please note, The Wickerman Festival and Skiddle have worked hard to reduce all fees and incorporate them into the ticket price for this year's ticket prices. This means the price you see below is the total price you pay, with no extra booking fees or handling charges to pay1 (excludes phone order surcharge)

About the Festival

Voted as 'Best Grassroots festival 2007' the festival is going from strength to strength and has been nominated for 'Best medium sized festival 2008' and 'Best Grassroots festival 2008'
Tops, brill, super, pure barry, par excellence, rare, dead good, whizzer, smashing, pure dead brilliant, magnifico and quite capital are all terms that spring to mind when describing the 08 Wickerman audience.
The weekend seemed to go as smoothly as Roger Moore smoking a Silk Cut, with very little trouble being reported by or to the police.  However, we do acknowledge that Rent-A-Cloud mixed up our order and sent a "Heavy Harr" instead of a "Filmy Fog" on the Saturday night which created a very spooky atmosphere for the midnight torching of the Wickerman.

Plans are already underway for Wickerman 09 which will take place on the 24th & 25th July.

All that remains to be said from the organisers is a leviathan thank you to all our customers who help create a festival which is one of the most chilled and quirky in the land.
