AXIS SOUND SYSTEM
Axis Reggae Sound System have been on the road since 1992 bringing the best in vintage music to venues, festivals and carnivals all over the UK.

What gives the music another dimension is the sound system itself, hand built by founder member Dr Huxtable. It reaches the parts other P.A. systems cannot reach!

Carrying on the tradition of the sound systems of the 1970's + 80's is the speciality of AXIS, working with artists such as Max Romeo, Dillinger, Trinity, U. Brown, Culture, Prince Hammer and Junior Murvin.
           
The 2007 Wickerman Festival will feature the Axis Reggae Sound System doing what they do best, with touches of SKA, ROCK STEADY, BLUES, JAZZ + JUNGLE. They will also have the regular record and CD stall packed with original vinyl gems.

SKIDDLE.COM BIG COMEDY PICNIC
This year's Wickerman has a whole new dimension thrown into the mix with our own comedy club every night! Once the bands leave the stage you'll be able to see four acts and a compere in the skiddle.com big comedy picnic.

We've teamed up with top comedy promoters BOSS Comedy to bring you a sneak preview of The Big Comedy Picnic, a bunch of ne'er do wells from the Northern English circuit (with one southern puff thrown in for good measure) these lads have decided to entertain a festival audience as the run up to their Fringe Festival show. After all, if they can survive The Wickerman....
