Appalachian hell raisers Hayseed Dixie, have announced they will be hitting these shores again to tour in February and March 2010, and invite you to join them getting stark-raving plastered as they rock out in their own unique and inimitable way. Since forming in the Fall of 2000, the band has performed over 1,000 live shows in 21 different countries.

Hayseed Dixie are currently recording their new studio album in Nashville, TN, which is due for release in February 2010.   The album, which will feature more songs about killin’, drinkin’, cheatin’ and hell, will contain some unexpected cover versions alongside the bands own material.

Stompin’ Dave sings whilst simultaneously tap dancing, whilst simultaneously playing multiple instruments. The music he plays is multi-styled, original but featuring traditional music and often obscure covers. Styled upon American roots music such as old-time, bluegrass, folk, cowboy, rhythm ’n’ blues, blues, rock ’n’ roll, vintage country, rockabilly and country blues. Stompin’ Dave performs on acoustic, steel & electric guitars, banjos, fiddle, harmonica and percussion.
