Lineup and details for Ballroom Dance Night on Saturday 18th February 2012
The Henley Farrell Big Band invites you to come and dance the night away to the sounds of a live big band as they bring the magnificent Swing Era into 2012. The band plays music to suit all the dance styles featured on the BBC hit show Strictly Come Dancing, including Quicksteps, Waltzes, Foxtrots, Jives, Rumbas and Cha-cha-chas. The night will also feature old time classics and sequence dances such as Barn Dances, Veletas, Square Tangos and many more.
Doors open at 7:00pm with music for dancing through until 10:30pm. The venue provides a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with a large, sprung dance floor and good value refreshments. Tickets are priced at £7 (£6 for Rolls Royce Club Members) and are available on the door.
The Band's dance nights are attended by a wide range of people and are enjoyed by experienced and beginner dancers as well as those who are young or young at heart. The music is, of course, also great to listen to and a typical night will include well known classics from Glenn Miller, Frank Sinatra, Michael Bublé and many more stars of the Big Band world from the past and present.
