The Village Players present
Lady of Letters. Written by Alan bennett this moving monologue reflects his wry observational style, mixing humour with pathos. Miss Ruddock is an avid letter writer.. but sometimes her instincts lead her astray.
The Real Inspector Hound . Tom Stoppards timeless one act play is a witty parody of the perennial murder mystery genre. Two critics watch and comment on a play into which they become irresistibly drawn, leading to a baffling and uterly absurd denouement fully worthy of the genre, Whay's real and what's imaginary in this madcap of mirrors!
