Promoting the finest homegrown talent emerging from the vibrant British music scene, 2000trees is the perfect place to unearth tomorrow’s stars today. With an eclectic line-up spanning many musical genres, this intimate and friendly festival has become a haven for music fans - many of whom discover their new favourite bands at the event.

Rising stars play alongside more established acts to create an inspiring, chilled out, fun festival of good music and great atmosphere, set within the stunning Cotswolds countryside near Cheltenham in Gloucestershire.

This summer's headline acts are confirmed as punk/folk hero Frank Turner and post-grunge punk rockers The Subways, fresh from supporting AC/DC in their sold out stadium tour.

2000trees, as the name suggests, is also a green and ethical music festival, winning the 'A Greener Festival Award' for its commitment to a comprehensive environmental policy which includes electricity generated with locally sourced biofuel (recycled chip fat), onsite recycling (90 per cent in 2009), locally sourced food and drink where possible and travel incentives for car-sharing and using public transport.

2000trees was started by six friends in 2007, who grew tired of being made to pay too much at other festivals to see the bands they love. They decided to create a value for money, ethical alternative.
