Morris Farm, Chelmsford Fri 31st August 2012
So yes, we are bigger, with a line up that would make comparative festival giants peep over the hedge.

Lineup and Details for Brownstock Festival on Fri 31st August 2012
But we are still totally, completely and utterly run by family and a handful of loyal friends. This means we personally ensure we run the type of festival we would want to go to.
Some of this is about music. Which is why we all sit around the farmhouse table debating and deciding on the right headliners. It's why we listen and pick from 400 unsigned acts. 2011 saw the new Piano Bar, where you can sit, listen or play yourself - sometimes way into the small hours on one of the bar's many pianos.
But a festival is about more that music - which is why you can also have a good old game of chess while you listen. It's why you can pop by the art camp for a doodle or to make your mark on the Brownstock wall painting, right before having a giggle with some of the UK's best stand up comedy and story telling. And then finally, when the time comes to refuel, you can head to Farmer Brown's food village for a home grown Aberdeen Angus beef burger.
