Following recent productions on Tony Thomas's New Era Recordings and Moxi
Digital, Steve Linney has been getting some serious attention of late. The
Scottish DJ has been involved in the club scene since the mid 90s when writing
for M8 magazine. Since crossing over to the other side of the dex, Steve has
been involved with some of the North East of Englands biggest nights and events.
Residencies with notorious after hours club Sunday Trading and Newcastles
legendary polysexual night Nice has seen Steve play alongside many of the
scenes big hitters and allowed him to play out to the finest selection of straight
and gay clubbers .
Steves own blend of dirty house mixed with twisted tribal and electro has
found its home not only with New Era and Moxi but also Tim Andresens What
Happens, Fragile Recordings, Adjust and his own push it recordings.
This has led Steve to playing in Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia, at Culture box in
Copenhagen and 2008 will see Steve play in North and South America aswell as
closer to home in the UK and Europe.
