Petruchio has come to Padua to find a wife and as soon as he sets eyes on the shrewish Kate, he knows she’s the girl for him. The 21st Century clashes swords with the Renaissance in this colourful and flamboyant retelling of Shakespeare’s knockabout farce. With sumptuous costumes and beautiful music, we invite you to a bold and fresh look at the battle of the sexes where it’s not always easy to tell just who’s taming who.
