Lineup and details for King Lear on Wednesday 22nd July 2009
One man's mind is ravaged by doubt, madness and betrayal; one man who happens to be King. A bitter fight for power erupts, which divides every bond mankind holds sacred. Brothers turn on brothers; fathers on daughters; wives on husbands...
After 25 years of bringing first class outdoor Shakespeare to South Wales, Everyman Theatre will present a fresh, fast-paced, accessible version of Shakespeare's classic tragedy.
This breath-taking visual feast set in a Victorian Gothic style boasts haunting music, soaring choirs and some of the greatest drama ever written.
