In 2002, John Osborne won a competition on John Peels Radio One show. His prize was a box of records that took eight years to listen to. Weaving the story of his life with his love of radio, Osborne has created a witty and endearing performance in which he affectionately shares the records previously owned by Peel. This show, which was broadcast on Radio 4 in December, is a unique opportunity to experience some of the obscure and inspired record choices of the man himself. Its also a funny and poignant tale of everyday life.
