The
Whilst 2008 ushers in a sad end to one of Goodgreefs most revered eras with the closure of Tall Trees, it also marks the point where their monolithic clubbing tour de force marks a new stage. GG is unparalleled in clubland in being able to switch effortlessly from the huge stadium encompassing events to the more intimate raves, each time leaving clubbers baying for more! The newest residency to further encapsulate this rare ability is at the 2000 capacity Club Evolution in
To truly announce their arrival, Goodgreef are pulling no punches by showcasing their manifesto at its most ferocious best with a Goodgreef Allnighter, lasting all the way till 7am!!! And who better to demonstrate this than the Queen of Hardstyle, Lady Dana?! Dana is one of the most brutal DJs in the modern climate, mixing up a furious blend of insane hardstyle, double speed techno and incandescent hard trance. Her relentless pounding links only the ultimate spheres of hard dance, and as an indicator of what exactly the clubbing nutters of
Shell be joined by the star in ascendancy that is Kutski! The scratch master is rapidly turning into one of Hard dances biggest stars, lighting up the Radio One Residency show he hosts and every single club he plays at, simply by fusing his raw technical genius to music from every part of the hard dance canon! Hes blown away Goodgreefs promoters, clubbers and pretty much every DJ thats played alongside him at the events, whipping the floor into a frenzy with laser guided turntable trickery and hard dance of the highest order! Evolution wont know what hit em!
The arena is then augmented with a blistering barrage of other names revered by the bosh glitterati, with Paul Glazby and Andy Farley, two of the godfathers of hard dance in its most frenetic and techno influenced form, adding an impassioned air of heritage to the event! They are backed up by two of the whippersnappers of the scene, sultry goddess Cally Gage and Tidy production whiz kid Morgan, both bringing their irrepressible fresh stance on the hard dance genre. Local lads Rob Davies and Nusense also offer their innate understanding of what makes Evolution tick to start proceedings off!
All this would be enough to fill the venue, but the second room boasts a further commitment to creating a huge event by teaming up with local trance stalwarts Collision! Headlining will be GG fave and Belgian trance superstar Fred Baker, a man who never lets the clubbers down with his trademark groovy and melodic spin on euphoria! Sean Tyas follows up, an outstanding American DJ who scored a triple whammy at the UK Trance Awards No1 Best New Face, 3rd Best Remixer and 5th Best Producer. GGs resident stars Tylor Leigh and Shan fly the flag with their rousing marriage of melodies and hard beats, while the final components boast four of the rising stars of the Welsh dance scene in Jordan Suckley, Steve Hampton, James Clark and Anthony Williams. They will all be contributing to what is surely a fresh and exciting development in the Welsh dance music scene!!!
