By transferring his street experience of audience control and off-the-cuff humour, Windsor became a highly skilled and professional comedy circuit compere and stand-up comic almost overnight a comedian with a well-crafted and instinctive ability to involve and warm up any audience.

Dougie started his career at the "The Stand" in hometown Edinburgh, and made his fringe debut in 2000 as part of the "The Midnight Show" in the Gilded Balloon. For Fringe 2003, he headlined the prestigious Big Value comedy package show at the Café Royal. Dougie has a rare ability to tell jokes about ordinary things and be hilarious! Edinburgh Evening News. Having briefly worked as main anchor on the WKD Shed Sports Show, Geoff quickly progressed to mixing it with the stars on 2010 Egaming Award nominated Best Programme The 888 Show, Channel One (formerly Virgin One) interviewing the legendary Shane Warne amongst the famous names.
