Origin (from Topeka, Kansas) grew out of a series of jam sessions in 1997 involving guitarist/vocalists Paul Ryan and Jeremy Turner. The band took shape over a period of about half a year. Bassist Clint Appelhanz and vocalist Mark Manning joined in October 1997, and drummer George Fluke joined in January 1998. The band members then decided to tour under the name Origin. They are currently touring their newest release, Entity.

Hailing from the remote island of Tasmania, Psycroptic have progressively carved a niche of their own within todays overcrowded Metal scene. Staying clear of trends, the band incorporate many elements of music extreme and otherwise to capture a sound that is uniquely their own. Not to be pigeonholed, Psycroptic stand apart from the horde and add a fresh element in the extreme metal realm with their precise blend of brutality, intensity and groove. Currently on the road supporting "The Inherited Repression", which is due for release on February 7th.

Belgium's hardest hitting bunch hones its brutal yet clever Deathgrind to a new level of perfection. Styled by themselves as Razorgrind after the same title of their first EP (split 7" with Black Ops) the sound of these now four maniacs contains a choice selection of Death Metal and Grindcore, Hardcore, bits of Doom and even pieces of Stoner Rock. Named after an Imperial Chinese torture ritual, which is translated in the title of their debut full-length "Death by a Thousand Cuts" (2002), the band was formed in 2001.
